The Quick Start Course for Lasso 9 Beginners
(3 sessions of 3 hours)
Session 1: Setting up
Session 1 will equip you with the knowledge you need to establish a server or development environment to hit the ground running with your development.

Session 2: Creating Reuseable Code
In this session we cover best-practice principles for development. We introduce the Object Oriented approach, and how architecting your solutions well will decrease development time and facilitate easier maintenance.

Session 3: Intro to Datasource Connectors and Troubleshooting
Session three will detail connecting Lasso 9 with various datasources, including MySQL, FileMaker and ODBC. We will work through practical examples of querying and updating databases. Techniques for error detection and handling are discussed and demonstrated.
