FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - January 23, 2006 - OmniPilot Software, Inc., global provider of integrated management software, has promoted Fletcher Sandbeck to Director of Product Development for Lasso Studio. OmniPilot's Lasso product suite of cross platform software tools allows companies to quickly build and serve powerful data-driven Web sites.
In his new role, Sandbeck will oversee the overall direction and growth of OmniPilot's Lasso Studio product line by setting release goals and schedules. He will delegate development tasks to OmniPilot's development team, and insure that products are properly documented and problem free releases are achieved.
Prior to his promotion, Sandbeck worked on the successful release of Lasso Professional Server 8 and Lasso Studio for Eclipse. He also worked with OmniPilot's QuickwebPro Dreamweaver integration. Sandbeck has been designing Web sites for ten years and has worked with OmniPilot's Lasso for eight years.

Prior to joining OmniPilot, Sandbeck worked at Blue World Communications, Inc. in Bellevue, Washington. OmniPilot Software acquired the Lasso product line from Blue World in August 2004. During that time, Blue World Communications closed its offices and the majority of its Lasso development team relocated to OmniPilot's Fort Lauderdale headquarters in Florida. Sandbeck decided to work remotely from the Seattle, Washington area.
Sandbeck also consults for Cumuli, Inc., a Web design team, which formed in 1997 as Coupon Central. In 1999, Coupon Central segued into ThriftyFun.com, an interactive site that allows readers to ask questions and contribute their own wisdom to others.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Sandbeck has worked on compiler design at Caltech and at the University of Washington. He currently lives in Manchester, Washington across Puget Sound from Seattle.
