Is there a easy way to move form fields when working with around 400 fields its more excel looking than anything. Should I separate the 8 pages to individuals and the merge after. What I cant seem to get over is the long list of field names when moving one at a time what seems half mile up the screen.
Thanks for your time

Which Acrobat version are you using?
Separating the pages may or may not help, as the tab order is limited to a single page anyway.
Are you using hierarchical field names?
Questions... Questions... Questions...

Re: Move form field tabbing order
Thanks for this Max
Acrobat 9 on OSX. What the previous operator did was, run auto field detection with (row detection??? not 100% on this) anyway it dose a reasonable job but when it goes wrong or it's abilities are stretched, it is a real nightmare to reorder with acrobat as the box standard tool.
I am thinking about reworking the ID file so the large tables are broken up. Hoping acrobat will make distinctions between what is 12 rows with 4 columns making 48 cells, but I having many of these tables butting up against each other. It looks like a spreadsheet. not my design or idea of easy information extraction but its the form I am working on. if the tables are split will acrobat make distinctions can I build individual page elements and build one pdf from them????
Thanks again
Take care
