[ string->islower ]

Method

[String->IsLower] checks whether a specified character within the string object is lowercase. If the parameter specifying the position of the character to be examined is omitted, then the default position 1 (or first character in the string object) is examined. The method returns True if the character is lowercase or False otherwise.

Examples

To check whether a character is lower case:

Use the [String->IsLower] method. The following example returns True since the fourth character of the string is lower case.
