[ locale_japanese ]


The [locale_japanese] method defines a locale with language "ja".

This method is shorthand for locale('ja'),

Set the locale to Japanese

Use the [locale_japanese] method. This example sets a locale to the default, updates it to [locale_japanese] and outputs the difference.


var(myLocale = locale_default,
     myDate = date)

$myLocale->asString +': '+$myLocale->format($myDate)+'\n'

$myLocale = locale_japanese

$myLocale->asString +': '+$myLocale->format($myDate)+'\n'


en_CA: 2011-02-12
ja: 2011/02/12
