[ decimal->logb ]

Method

Returns the radix-independent exponent of the decimal, which is the integral part of log base r |x|, as a signed floating point value, for non-zero x, where x is the decimal and r is the radix of the machine's floating-point arithmetic.

To return the radix-independent exponent of the decimal:

Use the [decimal->logb] method. The following example returns the radix-independent exponent of the decimal.
