[ String_IsAlphaNumeric ]

Method

[String_IsAlphaNumeric] returns boolean True if the string contains only alphabetic characters (including a-z as well as foreign characters and characters with accents) or numerals.

string_isalphanumeric('string value')

To check whether a string contains only letters or numbers:

Use the [String_IsAlphaNumeric] method. The following example checks whether the character A is a letter or number, whether the character 1 is a letter or number, and finally whether the string "A1" contains only letters or numbers, returning True each time.
