[ string->isUAlphabetic ]

Method

[String->IsUAlphabetic] checks whether a specified character within the string has the Unicode alphabetic property. Accepts an optional integer parameter for the position of the character in the string to check, defaulting to the first character if omitted. The method returns True if the character has the Unicode alphabetic property or False otherwise.

'String Object'->isUAlphabetic
'String Object'->isUAlphabetic(Integer)
Examples

To check whether a character is alphabetic in Unicode:

Use the [String->IsUAlphabetic] method. The following example returns True since the fifth character of the string is alphabetic according to Unicode.
